Block or service a station
Put a station out of service — by blocking it or scheduling maintenance — and add a note explaining why.
When a station can't be used — a broken umbrella, scheduled maintenance — you can put it out of service straight from the map and add a service note explaining why. The note stays visible to you and your staff in the station panel and on hover on the map.
Block a station and add a note
Use blocking when the station is unavailable with no set end date (for example a fault waiting to be repaired).
- Open Bookings → Map and click the station.
- In the menu choose Block station: the station turns red (no-entry icon) and the side panel opens with the Station blocked notice.
- Click + Add note: the Out-of-service note window opens.
- Write the note — for example "Broken, waiting for replacement" — and press Save note.
To make it available again, open the station from the panel and use Unblock station.
Put a station under maintenance and add a note
Use maintenance when you know how long the station will be out: you set a period with a start and end date.
- On the Map, click the station and choose Schedule maintenance.
- In the Station maintenance window set the period: From and To (the start and end dates).
- Confirm: the station shows the amber triangle and the panel reads Under maintenance from … to …, with the Edit maintenance and End maintenance buttons.
- Click + Add note, write the note and press Save note.
Note — the service note is meant for you and your staff: it explains at a glance why a station is out. When the station becomes available again, the note is removed.
